Softball Recap: Roswell Coyotes vs. Goddard Rockets
If Roswell was feeling good off their 10-1 takedown of Portales last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roswell Coyotes fell 8-4 to the Goddard Rockets on Thursday. Roswell dropped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Goddard, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Roswell will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lovington at 7:00 p.m. Lovington's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Roswell's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
