Basketball Recap: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Piles Up the Points Against Laporte

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nevis, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 81-41 victory over the Laporte Wildcats. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 26 points or more this season.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Laporte, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will challenge Littlefork-Big Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Littlefork-Big Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 games -- so hopefully Walker-Hackensack-Akeley likes a good challenge. As for Laporte, they will face off against Bertha-Hewitt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
