Basketball Recap: Wildwood Catholic Skates Past Central Bucks South with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wildwood Catholic). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 71-34 win over the Central Bucks South Titans. With the Crusaders ahead 39-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wildwood Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lola McGonigle, who posted 17 points. McGonigle is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last four games she's played. Dani Daley was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Central Bucks South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Wildwood Catholic and Central Bucks South will both be playing Wildwood the next time they take the court. Central Bucks South will head out to face Wildwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Wildwood Catholic will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
