Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ridgewood [Alwood/Cambridge]

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Bureau Valley Storm with a 43-37 win.

Several Storm players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kadyn Haage, who posted nine points and three steals. Haage is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Libby Endress, who put up eight points.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Bureau Valley, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will take on Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bureau Valley has already played their next contest (against Princeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
