Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Grove). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Paris Wildcats a 20-0 shutout on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Pleasant Grove's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-6-1. As for Paris, their loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14.
