Softball Game Preview: Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels vs. Glendale Vikings

Moshannon Valley is 0-7 against Glendale since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Black Knights/Damsels will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Moshannon Valley has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Moshannon Valley came up short against West Branch on Thursday, falling 11-5. The Black Knights/Damsels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Glendale fell victim to Curwensville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Golden Tide. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Golden Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Moshannon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Moshannon Valley might still be hurting after the 13-6 loss they got from Glendale in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Black Knights/Damsels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
