Volleyball Recap: Westfall Takes a Loss

Westfall lost against Logan Elm back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Braves. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Westfall ultimately came up short, they really made Logan Elm work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Sadie Binkley, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Westfall's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Logan Elm, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westfall will venture away from home to square off against Piketon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Logan Elm, they will head out on the road to take on Teays Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
