There's no place like home for New Life Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Capitol Encore Academy Dragons on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Cannon Bell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Landen Smith, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

New Life Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Capitol Encore Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy will take on Liberty Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
