Volleyball Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss

Sunnyside was the 3-0 winner over Torres when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sunnyside Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Torres Toros on Saturday.

Sunnyside has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Torres and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Coming up, Sunnyside will be playing in front of their home fans against Reedley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Torres, they are taking a road trip to take on Justin Garza at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Justin Garza will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Torres surely won't give up without a fight.
