Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

If Washington was feeling good fresh off their 51-26 takedown of Rockwood Summit last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Washington Bluejays fell 50-43 to the Warrenton Warriors on Friday. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Warrenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Washington will square off against Parkway South at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrenton, they will head out to square off against St. Charles West at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
