Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Cardinals vs. Florence/Henry Falcons

Arlington is 2-8 against Florence/Henry since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Arlington Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the Florence/Henry Falcons at 6:15 p.m. Arlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Florence/Henry likes a good challenge.

If Arlington beats Florence/Henry with 55 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Arlington managed a 55-49 victory over Minneota on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Florence/Henry had to suffer through a 60-30 loss at the hands of Lakota Tech. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Arlington is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Florence/Henry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Arlington beat Florence/Henry 51-44 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arlington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
