Soccer Game Preview: Blue Valley West vs. Eureka

Blue Valley West barely beat Bishop Miege the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars' defense stepped up to hand the Stags a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The matchup marked Blue Valley West's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Eureka was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of Pembroke Hill by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Eureka couldn't quite close it out.

Eureka has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Blue Valley West, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
