Softball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crimson Cliffs entered their tilt with Snow Canyon on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 on Tuesday.

Jordyn Cluff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Nyah Snyder was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddy Abbott, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Crimson Cliffs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.

Crimson Cliffs' record now sits at 12-8. As for Snow Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.
