Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Falls Tigers vs. Cohoes Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Hudson Falls and Cohoes will really light up the scoreboard on Sunday.

Cohoes will be up against a hot Hudson Falls squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Hudson Falls breezed past Gloversville to the tune of 73-43 back in February. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cohoes had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They snuck past the Huskies/Dragons with an 80-75 victory. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cohoes' win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Hudson Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

Hudson Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Cohoes in their previous meeting back in February of 2019, sneaking past 58-56. Will Hudson Falls repeat their success, or does Cohoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
