Trinity Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors by a score of 58-50. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 72-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Christian Ministries Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sawyer Oliver, who shot 40% from the field en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Hicks, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.

Christian Ministries Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Columbia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Ministries Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-60 loss against Faulkner County HomeSchool on the 4th.
