Los Fresnos' loss ends four-game winning streak on the road

If the Los Fresnos Falcons were feeling good off their 77-34 takedown of the Roma Gladiators last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Los Fresnos fell 73-63 to United South on Friday. The match was a 34-34 toss-up at halftime, but Los Fresnos was outscored by United South in the second.

Los Fresnos' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jj Salazar, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Gio Galvan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Los Fresnos' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6. As for United South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
