Football Recap: Eagle Grove Takes a Loss

Eagle Grove extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They came up short against the South Hardin Tigers, falling 42-16. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

As for South Hardin, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Leading South Hardin to victory were Kameron Adams and Peyton Welch. Adams rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while Welch threw for 206 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 106.8 rushing yards per game.
