King William had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Charles City Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-54 last Monday.

King William's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Charles City, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King William will square off against Carver College and Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. King William knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Carver College and Career Academy likes a good challenge. As for Charles City, they and West Point will face off at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
