Basketball Recap: Hauser Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Hauser won the last time they faced Waldron, and Ledger Gelfius did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hauser Jets blew past the Waldron Mohawks 63-40 on Friday thanks in part to Gelfius, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 23 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Waldron still got an impressive performance from Lucas Shaw, who went 8 of 13 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Moody, who posted six points.

Hauser has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Waldron, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Hauser wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-21 win against Rising Sun on the 25th. As for Waldron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-45 victory against Bethesda Christian on the 25th.
