Basketball Recap: Gainesville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Gainesville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patriot Pioneers. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 63-38 to them when the teams met on Tuesday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gainesville's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Patriot, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Gainesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-13 victory against Osbourn Park on the 15th. Patriot has also already played their next game, a 60-50 win against Forest Park on the 16th.
