Basketball Recap: Auburn Mountainview Lions vs. Kentlake Falcons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Auburn Mountainview). They really took it to the Kentlake Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 96-69 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.
Kolven Posey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckett Jones, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Auburn Mountainview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.
