Basketball Recap: Nordonia Comes Up Short

Nordonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-35 back in December of 2024.

Nordonia's record now sits at 6-13. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Nordonia and Stow-Munroe Falls could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Nordonia (ranked 381st) will meet Brecksville-Broadview Heights (ranked 37th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls will challenge Twinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 121 places (232 vs. 111).
