Baseball Recap: Tri-County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tri-County's offense. They came up short against the Rosholt Hornets on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Penguins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Tri-County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rosholt, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-County will challenge Pacelli at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Penguins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rosholt, they will be playing at home against Gillett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
