Basketball Recap: Bucyrus Comes Up Short

Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Upper Sandusky Rams 74-36. While losing is never fun, the Redmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 806th, while the Rams are ranked 243rd).

Bucyrus' record now sits at 1-18. As for Upper Sandusky, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Coming up, Bucyrus and Ridgedale will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Upper Sandusky, they and Ottawa-Glandorf will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
