Softball Recap: Doyle Takes a Loss

Doyle suffered their biggest defeat since April 4, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Orange Beach Makos, falling 8-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Doyle has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. The win (which was Orange Beach's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Doyle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Slidell on the 17th. As for Orange Beach, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 win against Lee-Scott Academy on the 20th.
