Sheldon has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Eugene recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Irish will welcome the Axe at 4:30 p.m. Sheldon will be strutting in after a win while South Eugene will be coming in after a defeat.

Sheldon is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 4th last Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past Grants Pass 7-6.

Sheldon let Natalia Shoemaker and Savannah Mckibben run wild. Shoemaker went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles, while Mckibben went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Mckibben has posted over her last eight matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Stone, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Grants Pass, falling 14-1.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.

Everything went Sheldon's way against South Eugene when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Sheldon made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Irish have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Axe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
