Volleyball Recap: Moreau Catholic Snags 13th Victory in Last 14 Games

If Irvington wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Moreau Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Lucas Dong. Moreau Catholic came out on top against Irvington by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Dong, who had 11 digs and three assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Brennan Cacao also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season. What's more, he posted four kills, the most he's had over his last seven matches.

Moreau Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. The loss snapped Irvington's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.
