Football Recap: Carter Mccullohs and Cooper Gandy Pace Cambridge Christian Defense + How To Watch

Cambridge Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 28-7 to the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Lancers couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the defeat, Cambridge Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah LeGrande rushed for 131 yards. The Lancers also got help from Reid Levine, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

Cambridge Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carter McCullohs and Cooper Gandy.

Allen Clark had a dynamite game For Out-of-Door Academy., rushing for 172 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Cambridge Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge Christian will welcome Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m.
