Basketball Game Preview: Pioneer Pioneers vs. Saline Hornets

Pioneer is 2-8 against Saline since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Pioneer Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saline Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Pioneer will be strutting in after a win while Saline will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Pioneer was able to grind out a solid victory over Skyline, taking the game 59-52.

Meanwhile, Saline took a blow against Howell on Friday, falling 72-44.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Saline, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
