Baseball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Bay Rockets

For the second straight game, Normandy will face off against Bay. The Invaders will welcome the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Normandy and Bay meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Invaders came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 5-2.

Normandy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Wolf, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Victor Reyes was another, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Normandy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
