While North Valley's win against Yreka wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights skirted past the Miners 8-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-3 on Thursday.

The victory made it two in a row for North Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Yreka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Coming up, North Valley will head out to challenge South Umpqua at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Yreka, they will welcome Ashland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
