Ray proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the King Brahmas. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Texans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Kaliey Benavides was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Alexianna Perez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Ray now has a winning record of 2-1. As for King, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Ray will take on Robstown at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against United at 11:00 a.m.
