Softball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Medway on Tuesday, Milton came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Walpole Timberwolves on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Walpole, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will challenge Dedham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
