Volleyball Recap: Sandhills Valley Takes a Loss

Sandhills Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mullen Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-8.

Isabella Waker paced Sandhills Valley's offense, picking up three kills. Waker got some help from Ellexis Hagan and her five assists.

Sandhills Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

After both having extra time off, Sandhills Valley and Hyannis will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Thursday. Mullen has already played their next matchup (against South Loup), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
