Basketball Recap: Sauk Prairie Comes Up Short

Sauk Prairie lost against McFarland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sauk Prairie Eagles took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McFarland Spartans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sauk Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for McFarland, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-5.

Sauk Prairie will square off against Mount Horeb at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Sauk Prairie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Mount Horeb likes a good challenge. As for McFarland, they will head out on the road to square off against Baraboo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
