Basketball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

After soaring to 63 points the game before, Huntington was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. 2025 welcomed they with a 48-22 loss courtesy of the Diboll Lumberjacks. The match marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Huntington's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-15. As for Diboll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Woodville the next time they take the court. Huntington will head out to face Woodville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Diboll will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
