Volleyball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns + Official Tickets

Fallbrook is 2-8 against Rancho Buena Vista since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Warriors will square off against the Longhorns at 6:00 p.m.

Fallbrook came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Mission Vista, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since August 19th.

While Fallbrook was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rancho Buena Vista, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over San Pasqual on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Rancho Buena Vista's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-10.

Fallbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Rancho Buena Vista, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-16.

Fallbrook was able to grind out a solid victory over Rancho Buena Vista in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
