Basketball Recap: Scholars Guild Academy Spartans vs. Lanier Christian Academy Lightning
Scholars Guild Academy played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 82-55 loss at the hands of the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning. The Spartans have struggled against the Lightning recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Scholars Guild Academy still got an impressive performance from Henry Rumble, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points and five boards. Benjamin Brinkmann also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Even though they lost, Scholars Guild Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
