Volleyball Recap: Manual Arts' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Manual Arts won the last time they faced Santee and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Toilers blew past the Falcons 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-8.

Manual Arts' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alejando Mejia, who hit 88.9% for 17 kills and ten digs, four aces, and two blocks. Those 88.9% hitting percentage gave Mejia a new career-high.

Mejia wasn't the only one working in the hitting percentage department: Manual Arts couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 82% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Manual Arts' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for Santee, their defeat was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
