Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Ashtyn Sligh stepped things up a notch to give Oneonta the 'W'. Sligh was dynamite, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.
