Soccer Game Preview: Mayfair vs. Dominguez

The Mayfair Monsoons are taking a road trip to take on the Dominguez Dons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mayfair's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Mayfair is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Bellflower on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Dominguez ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Firebaugh 4-3. The win continues a trend for Dominguez in their matchups with Firebaugh: they've now won five in a row.

Marlon Ayala Mejia and Jeffrey Pena scored all four of Dominguez's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Dominguez's victory bumped their record up to 10-1-1. With that draw, Mayfair's record moves to 8-8-1.
