Baseball Recap: Omaha Central Takes a Loss

Omaha Central lost against Westview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Weber was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Omaha Central now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Westview, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Omaha Central will challenge rival Millard North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westview is set to square off against their familiar foe Mount Michael Benedictine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
