Capital faced Greenbrier East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Neither the Cougars nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Capital's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Kahsi Morgan, who's now up to four this season.

Capital's draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-1. As for Greenbrier East, they moved theirs to 4-2-2.
