Basketball Recap: Oak Harbor Victorious

Oak Harbor won the last time they faced Mt. Baker and things went their way on Friday too. The Oak Harbor Wildcats escaped with a win against the Mt. Baker Mountaineers by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Oak Harbor's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for Mt. Baker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

When Oak Harbor and Mt. Baker next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Oak Harbor will face off against Lynden Christian and their eight-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Mt. Baker will try to stop Lynden's 16-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
