Football Recap: Make It Nine in a Row for Muscle Shoals + How To Watch

Muscle Shoals won against Hartselle last Saturday with 31 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Austin Black Bears with a sharp 31-7 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Kiran King threw for 75 yards and one touchdown. Christian Pritchard was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Kamhariyan Johnson rushed for 81 yards.

Several Black Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Gibbs, who rushed for 84 yards, and also caught one score. Landon Baker was another key player, gaining 75 total yards and a touchdown.

The win keeps Muscle Shoals at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.7 points this season. As for Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
