Major shakeups in the national rankings also affect some regions.

There was massive tumult in the Xcellent 25 national rankings this week as the previous No. 1, No. 3 and No. 10 teams all fell. The impact was felt at the regional level as well, as many new teams enter this week throughout the country.

Cedar Hill (Texas) fell to No. 5 and Katy (Texas) dropped to No. 14 in the Southwest, while — despite a loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) — St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) remained in the top spot in the South.
