Softball Recap: Hayfield Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Hayfield extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping their season record up to 13-4 in the process. Everything went their way against the Edison Eagles as they made off with a 21-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Edison, they moved to 13-8 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Hayfield since May 5, 2023.

For Edison's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Sable, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Maggie Rowland was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Coming up, Hayfield will take on Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
