Baseball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

Creekview lost against Highland Park back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell 7-2 to the Scots. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Creekview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Rojas, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Creekview's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

While Creekview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
