It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Preston ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Century Diamondbacks 2-1. This was a revenge game for Preston: when they faced off against Century last Tuesday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Tayli Udy and Hannah Cole scored both of Preston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Preston's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3-2 and their overall record up to 3-9-6. As for Century, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10-2.

Looking ahead, Preston will head out to take on Pocatello at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
