Soccer Recap: Mountain View's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Mountain View came into Wednesday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Maricopa Rams by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last ten games.

They hit Maricopa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Taylor Clairmont (2), Amara Spurlock, and Gabriela Triana.

Mountain View's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Maricopa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Mountain View will square off against Desert View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Desert View has lost four straight at home , while Mountain View has lost three on the road. As for Maricopa, they will face off against Pueblo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
